WE DO THE CUSTOMS CLEARANCE ONLY AS A SUPPLEMENT OF THE TRANSPORT BY OUR VEHICLES

On request, we provide export and import customs clearance in the Czech Republic by means of our customs declaration. Before the first customs clearance you only need to conclude an Agreement on customs clearance representation with us.

APPROXIMATE PRICES OF CUSTOMS CLEARANCE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC ARE LISTED IN THE PRICE LIST WHEN CALCULATING TRANSPORT:

Export from the Czech Republic

  • Standard export customs clearance with SAD (Single Administrative Document)
  • Issuance of the certificate of origin of the goods EUR.1
(if requested in writing by the customer)

Import into the Czech Republic

  • standard import customs clearance with SAD starting
(including indemnity in the event of possible customs debt, this price can be individually increased in cases of multi-item SAD or in case of securing a high amount of customs debt).

Before the first customs clearance, a power of attorney for customs clearance representation must be completed by our employees and sent to you for signing.

Copies of the following documents must be sent to us in advance:

  • extract from the commercial register (trade certificate)
  • Tax Identification No. Certificate
  • bank account number
  • name of the authorized person signing the power of attorney
  • telephone, fax and e-mail contact

Recommendations:

  • Invoicing for countries outside the EU such as Switzerland must be made exclusive of VAT.
  • When issuing invoices for amounts up to 6000 euros to purchasers outside the EU such as Switzerland, the invoice must contain the "PREFERENCE SENTENCE - declaration of the goods' origin" to instruct the purchaser to pay no or reduced customs duty but only the VAT. This applies to products made in Europe.
  • The declaration must be written "excatly" as shown (see above) including the compulsory signature and legible name, otherwise there is a risk of non-recognition of preference on the part of the Swiss customs authorities.
  • The declaration may be written in one language only, the language being either the language of the seller or of the purchaser. Which means that the declaration can almost always be in Czech.
  • If the invoice amount exceeds 6000 euros, it is necessary to issue the EUR.1 customs document by which the customs office shall certify the origin of the goods. For more info refer to our customs declaration department (see CONTACTS).
  • ATTENTION: If the invoice has been issued in a currency other than the euro, individual limits for other currencies are defined by the customs authorities once or twice a year and it is therefore necessary to watch these "value limits" on their web site at liste_der_wertgrenzen.pdf
